Manoj Bajpayee reprises his role as Srikant Tiwari, a corporate drudge who is struggling to fit in. As his friend JK reminds him in an early scene, saving the world is no longer his duty. When his marriage begins to fall apart, Srikant turns to the one safe haven in his mental closet: his past job as a covert spy for a secretive government agency.
This time, however, the stakes are much higher. Srikant becomes entangled in a web of geopolitical intrigue when a group of Sri Lankan Tamil separatists devises a plot to assassinate India's prime minister, and uses his teenage daughter as bait to get him out of the way.

Manoj Bajpayee is a fantastic performer. There isn't much I've seen of this guy that makes me believe in the character he portrays. But whenever I see him in a role other than Srikant Tiwari, I'm going to think of him as Srikant Tiwari. That's how convincing he is in the film The Family Man. Both seasons of this series are very fantastic.
You may expect a pause in the second season since you've already brought in the gimmicks to keep the audience interested, but Raj and DK, as well as writer Suman Kumar, pushed the second season to an even higher level. The goal of agents who work for a country versus those who work for a corporation blurs the borders between good and bad guys.
